    I want to s tart my carrer as a tester. can any one please suggst book

    Hi I am new to this forum. I completed my studies in 2007. Till now I am housewife. Now I want to start my career as tester. I heared that to start as a tester, I have to learn manual testing.

    Can any one suggest how to learn manual testing. and any books for testing (manual testing) with real time examples ? Is Foundations of Software Testing: ISTQB Certification book really helpful for me?

    Testing Computer Software by Kaner is an excellent book on testing subjects Software testing Techniques by Boris Biezer an excellent book on testing - more academic than most Pragmatic Software Testing by Rex Black is decent and has exercises in each chapter.

    A good approach to learning testing is to read some of the books above and then participate in weekend testing sessions:

    I suggest you to start with ISTQB foundation.
    There are many document available at ISTQB website. Please start from Syllabus of Foundation, then you will be familiar in this basic of software testing quickly.

    you can start with here qtpbook(.)com . This book contains all chapter in Automation and Software testing
