Re: Question of the Day : Job Interview - Dressing up for an Interview

False, Dressing up for an interview does not guarantee you a job - However it does make you look and act more professional, and it upgrades your image in the eyes of your interviewer. Remember to dress smart, dress neat but never over dress. Dress appropriately.

If you still have any doubt, you can ask the HR person who sets up the in-person interview.

Re: Question of the Day : Job Interview - Dressing up for an Interview

I agree. It's true. The attire that you should wear to a job interview must be a direct reflection of the job you're applying for. If you are applying for a construction job, it may seem strange, but it does show you took the time to dress up. In some vocations, a business casual outfit is the safest bet, but if you aren't certain of what to wear, it never hurts to find out in advance
