    Hp certified QTP or ISTQB certification, which is better? plzz help..

    Hi friends,
    I am new to this forum. I just wanted to take a certification in Software testing. Can anyone please tell me which is better to get job, HP certification in QTP or ISTQB? I can just take only foundation level ISTQB certification because i have no work ex for doing advance level and i just completed an online QA training from one of the consulting agencies in U.S and they are not taking any further step in placement.

    First, you have to understand the difference between the two certifications. Let me explain both of them,

    HP QTP Certification: This certification is provided by HP. Once you cleared this certification, you are capable of working with the automation tool QTP[Quick Test Professional]

    ISTQB: This certification helps you to know about the basics of software testing. Once you cleared this certification, you are capable enough about the testing methods.

    You can take any of the above certification, its based upon your interest. Both are valuable...
