    dynamically add rows to existing table

    i have the table with 100 records
    at the first time the page loading i want to display only 10 records and the more link
    if the link is clicked display 10 more records

    the records are populated from the oracle database

    i don't know how to use the oracle contents in javascript or ajax

    i am not pretty much familiar with ajax yet but i do this using struts where link could directly post the url to a method of struts class.

    If you say you want something like when you do a google search, then you should look for Pagination Techniques.
    This is only if you want to take data from a database.

    Pagination allows you yo limit no. of rows displayed, and then display next set of rows if next page/button is clicked. This requires much understanding of PHP and little of MySQL queries.

    To directly display already written data in HTML code, you can use JavaScript to manipulate the table entries.
