Re: Number series [1]....

Answer is 79...

Solution

The next number is formed by adding the previous number with the individual digit in the number...

eg:-
25=17+1+7
32=25+2+5
37=32+3+2 and so on

Final value is 71+1+7=79

Re: Number series [1]....

hi

i got 97 since
result

25-17=8

32-25 =7 result is decreased by 1 compared to previous result

37-32=5 result is decreased by 2 compared to prev result

47-37=10 result is doubled compared to prev result

58-47=11 result is increased by1 compared to previous result

71-58 =13 result is increased by 2 compared to previous result

now the previous result should b doubled!

i.e 13*2=26

therefore 71+26=97

thats what i thought!

bye

Talking Re: Number series [1]....

hi manoj

yes , iwill take care of it!
but I dont write solution only when i answer the puzzle first(or say before 3hrs or so)!the only reason y i dont give solution is that i want others to think!( i want others to read and they should equally enjoy the question) .

What i think(personal view) is that giving solutions in the very first post itself kills the anxiety of others!
I hop u r getting my point!There is no reason other than this!
bye
