u can upload testcases directly from excel to test director. using the addins provided by test director. it will help you in time consuming...
the 4 steps dialogue box will help you to upload and the installation guide will help you how to upload

U can do that thru Microsoft Excel Add in provided in the Add-in's page of Test Director and customize it..

Use Microsoft Excel Add in. This will help you directly connet to TD and upload the Test cases automatically.
