    Re: Web testing

Asked many questions in single thread..

    1) What are the qualities that should be there as a web tester?

Observe an explore the application. Understand the client requirement and execute those cases on websites. While testing on website, QA has to consider many points such as security (https), page breaks and so on. Websites can be accessable from anywhere hence QA should have entusiasm and use net to search frequent bugs/issues occures on sites.

4)How would you test a login page?
    Consider below cases:
    a. Whether it's secured or normal (SSL/http)
    b. If SSL applied(https) on login page, then check whether unnecessary popups are dispalyed/page breaks
    c. check username/pwd fields validations by using BVA, ECP, by entering invalid, valid, special characters, haft email and so on
    d. Use keyboard tab to navigate to buttons on the page
    e. After entering proper credentails, check able to login properly and landing to the home page with all valid accessable links
And there are many other cases such that.
