Re: series question

Its very easy.....

Next numbere in this series is:

4,2,3,7.5,26.25, 118.125,650.375

Explanation:

4 x 0.5 = 2
2 x 1.5 = 3
3 x 2.5 = 7.5
7.5 x 3.5 = 26.25
26.25 x 4.5 = 118.125
118.125 x 5.5 = 650.375

Re: series question

It’s really good the way you solve such problems 'psuresh', it always interests and impresses me.

But I think there is a solution or formulae for it right? Or you had to do it on a trial and error basis which takes a long long time? I mean how you have come to know that the previous number is multiplied with 1+ the previous multiplier?

Re: series question

hi friends,

it will take only five minutes.....

Intially i found the series going multiply the numbers or divide the numbers....

Because the second number only going down and all the numbers going up. Also the numbers have fractional part.

First i analys the difference between the two numbers. After i got the solution easily....

Just i thinking logically...I am not using any mathematical formula and methods.
