    session state is for storing date for all pages untill session is not end.
    view state is for storing the date until page live.

    View State is client Side

    Viewstate is used to hold on the data as long as the page is being viewed, Session is used to hold on the data till the site doesnt clear the session.
    ViewState is client side and Session is server side.
