    Testing 500 characters in a text box

    Hi,

    There is an text box that accepts 500 characters.If the user tries to enter 501 character it should not accept.How we test it.Is there any easy way to test this scenario?

    Hi,

    You need to enter 500+ characters in the text box. You can use copy paste also. See the behavior of text-box, whether it stop accepting text after 500 or start deleting text from starting and adding new characters in end.

    If case 1 then ok.

    If case 2 then report as issue.
