Can we view the code that Informatica creates in the back-end ?
If yes, then how and also can we edit that code ?

u can see the codes while giving generate and execute command in the warehouse designer

hi Manisha,
yes, we can see them in log files, i.e., what ever we do in informatica designer, that backend SQL code will be seen in log files. These files are created by Power center server, i.e., in server folder, session logs, etc., we can check the code in log files.

If you want to see the code snippet which Informatica generates while creating a target table
--> generate and Execute.
If you want to see the code snippet which Informatica generates while joining various sources in source qualifier
--> Generate SQL in Source qualifier properties.
If you want to see the code snippet which Informatica generates while creating a target table
If you want to see the code snippet which Informatica generates in Update strategy
--> Do sql override in update strategy
And all codes you can see in the session log file.
