the best difference is tht C++ follows multiple inheritance but java doesnot follow multiple inheritance .Instead of multiple inheritance it introduces a new concept of interface.Interface cannot be instantiated i.e we cant create the instance of nay class..

one of the difference between c++ and java is ...

c++ is a flatform dependent..bcoz of its object code.
while java is flatform independent...bcoz of its byte code.
