Re: software testing

Hi,

Testing is never over.
There are no software without defects.
No matter how low the severity of a defect is, the defect is still a defect and therefore, the testing is never over.
But, you can define from the beginning of the project the AQL (Acceptance Quality Level).
The AQL will provide guidance regarding the testing progress.
Therefore if you want to know when the testing is "over" you have to ask yourself about the AQL: is it still reflected in the application?
If you have a strict AQL, not just an AQL to reflect basic operation from the application, you can say that the testing is over when the AQL is reached.

Best regards,
Vrajitoru
