QC installation problem

QC installation problem
I have have installed QC but when i click on quality center or site administration link it says
Download vapi-XP testing tool in progress Download Business testing testing tool in progress Download component type configuration in progress .. .. Download OTAXml.dll in progress Download otaReport.dll in progress and the download never gets complete. What could be the problem? Please help me

Can you please specify the IE version & OS on the system you are trying to install QC.
Also the QC version.

os is windows xp with service pack 2 mother board - zebrionics
