Smile Linux Hardware Monitoring in Karmic Koala

Hi Friends,

If u want to activate linux hardware monitoring( lm-sensors) in ubuntu karmic koala,

add:

"acpi_enforce_resources=lax" to the kernel cmdline when booting (or add it in grub.conf to make this permanent).

To add acpi_enforce_resources=lax to your Grub, in Ubuntu Karmic, press Alt + F2, and enter:

gksu gedit /etc/default/grub

And enter the following line:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_enforce_resources=lax"

Then save the file.

Thanks,
Rijus.
