Business Logic in JSP

Hi, all

JSP's are designed for view purpose but we can write business logic in JSP.

I heard that If we write heavy business logic(java coding) in JSP then JSP may get crashed.

Is it true? If yes then why?

It was partial true untill Tomcat 3.x. The problem was because of buffer cache of conatiner. But Tomcat 4.x onwards, that problem has been taken care of by container itself. So, no worries.

Having said that, I do not recommend business logic in JSP. Application looses all the good part that comes with MVC/mutli-tier framework.
