Smile Logic Puzzle

Hi Friends,

The captain of a ship was telling this interesting story: "We traveled the sea far and wide. At one time, two of my sailors were standing on opposite sides of the ship.

One was looking west and the other one east. And at the same time, they could see each other clearly."

How can it be possible?

Regards,
Riju's.

Re: Logic Puzzle

Jim can fill a pool carrying bucks of water in 30 minutes. Sue can do the same job in 45 minutes. Tony can do the same job in 1 ½ hours. How quickly can all three fill the pool together?

Hi,

We have x/30+x/45+x/90 ;

So 6x=90
ie x=15.

So it would take them 15 minutes to do the job together.

Rijus

Hi Friends,

Here is the answer.

The marines were standing back to the edge of the ship so they were looking at each other.

It does not matter where the ship is (of course it does not apply to the north and South Pole).

Regards,
Rijus.

Re: Logic Puzzle

The two sailors standing on two ends of the ship i.e. The East and the south side.
One standing on the east side faces the west and vice versa

Re: Logic Puzzle

Actually they are not facing towards the sea instead they are facing towards the ship.
