Cognos Value Prompt Issue on Prompt Page
I'm having some difficulty getting a Value Prompt to work on my Prompt page.
I've created a simple customer listing and tested the report. I then added a filter on State, whenever I run the report I get prompted with a dropdown box to select the State, it works. Here's where I get lost. I created a Prompt Page, dragged a Value Prompt and went thru the wizard, I selected "Existing Parameter", click Finish, run the report and nothing appears in the dropdown box except the name of the paramter. Ok, I delete the prompt object and delete the filter on State, drag a new value prompt, go through the wizard and this time allow the wzard to help me create the filter, and nothing appears again. I dont know what I'm missing. Clearly the filter works without a Prompt Page but I'm at a loss.. thanks for the help.... ps. Hope this is in the right forum.
