Sun Releases New NetBeans 6.7 IDE for Java and PHP
Guys,
Sun Releases new Netbeans 6.7 IDE for JAVA and PHP Sun Microsystems, inc. (nasdaq: java) and the Netbeans developer community today announced the availability of the Netbeans integrated development environment (IDE) 6.7. This new version of netbeans features tight integration with project kenai, sun's collaborative hosting site for free and open source projects. Developers can download the free, full-featured Netbeans ide 6.7 Netbeans ide 6.7 has phpunit support so a developer can easily test php sources it also has a selenium plugin to create selenium tests using php. It also has sql code completion in the php editor." for most developers, the IDE (define) is where many start their coding efforts. Yet an ide itself is just a development tool, and developers still require a place to host their source code. It's a gap that sun is hoping to bridge with the release of its new netbeans 6.7 ide, which includes integrated support for sun's project kenai.
