hi deepa,

I am looking for a web based testing tool for Manual Testing, the tool should at least be compatible to IE and Firefox. It is lot better if the tool supports Automation also.

Hai friend,

Please be clear what you are asking.

Manual testing:

It is done by an individual tester without any tool

Automation testing

Here you should write scripts and then automate the functionality. if you need an automation tool which is compatible for web applications and validating it through cross browser then please use QTP. With QTP you can run the test in IE as well as firefox.
