i am windows xp. now i wantot access the oracle data base which is in other machine. how to access that?

Use putty to connect to the database its a free software download it from google and after download you have to enter the server ip and click enter or even you can use telnet.

both the systems needs to be in LAN and you need to configure the TNS settings
