Quality Center Defect customazation
Hi I have a question on how to customize the defect part.
I want to be able to make the defect module choose from the test plan. For instance: We have a field in the defect module called "Feature area" and right now I've just created a drop down list for that part but I would like it to get the feature areas from the Test Plan Module. We have divided the Test Plan module into feature areas and therefor it would be great just to update one place (The test plan module) instead of the list in the Defect module every time a new feature is introduced. |

Re: Quality Center Defect customazation
Hi,
You can create a project list for this field in the project customization window. Then, you can use this list both in test plan and in defects module... Regards, Evren |

Re: Quality Center Defect customazation
That's not what I mean.
What I mean is: the folders from the Test Plan module forinstance: Complaints , Claim and so on should be selectable within the defect module under the field called feature area. I know I can create a drop down list which I can call from anywhere but I would like it to select from the folder structure. If you use QC 10.0 there is a default field called detected in release which does kinda the same but with the management module instead. Hope that cleared up my question.
