Multiple Protocol is used to measure the performance of some set of protocols (Web(HTP/HTML),Oracle CNA, ODBC).
Single Protocol is to measure the performance of specfic protocol only. It is better to use multiple protocol even if you want test the performance of a specific protocol, because multiple protocol supports functions wen compared to Singlr Protocol
