This is a discussion on parameter...... within the Java forums, part of the Software Development category; Hi, what is the difference between parameter and attribute in servlet? sometime we use getParameter() and at other time getAttribute() , where to use which one? Thanks..............

Re: parameter......
parameter's are variables and Attributes are object.In case,ur using session u can use attribute,where as parameter's used by html form processing(all r string).
