Re: Related Gui Testing

There are various tools to maintain test cases. some examples are Jira, Bugzilla, Test director, Product studio.
Your question is not clear. From your question it seems that you want to write test cases in excel sheet. Its simple. You can have seperate columns in excel sheet for each field of a test case. For example: 1st column can have test case id field, 2nd coulmn can have test case title, 3rd column can have test case description. this way you can write ur test cases in an excel sheet.
I hope ur question is answered.

New excel Sheet and Make Columns.
1. Test Case Number : This will be unique number through out the project.
2. Test Case : write test case name
3. Description : Write the test case description here
4. Steps to reproduce: This will have each step from start to end to till test case is complete
5. Expected result: Write what is expected out of this test case.
6. Result : Pass/Fail

lets say example of checking if a correct user account can login with correct username and password.
test case No.: 1
test case: valid Account is able to login
description: validate if a valid user is able to login with valid username and password.
Steps to Reproduce:
a. Login to URL
b. write valid username in username field
c. write valid password in password field
d. Hit login
Expected result : User able to login
Result : PASS (if user logged in )
