It will depend on type of testing you have to do. If this is regression testing then you can retest most critical bugs first.

Testing important functionalities & modules with high-risks may be the first process for this case. Then, testing modules which end-users use mostly may be beneficial. Also, testing the changes in the last release which may have impact on other modules could also be helpful.
Not to be in this situation, time, resource & risk management should be prepared carefully at the beginning stages of the project. |
