If you are creating IIS asp.net website,defaultly that will create virtual directory.
if you are created any fileWebSite,then u have to create. Open IIS, control Panel->Administrative Tools->Internet Information Service, then exapand the options until you find Default Web Site option. then right click on Default Web Site,select new ->Virtual Directory , wizard will be open, Follow the steps.
