Embeded Sql means sql statements will be hard coded in application program and static sql means it will be compiled optimized prior to its execution.

Hi friends,I am new to this forum. I am IBM Mainframe environment, I have some questions don't know wheather this is right place to ask or not:

I want to know how real time professionals work on IBM Mainframe. Like what they do on cobol,jcl,DB2,VSAM,cics and tools like fileaid,xpeditor,changeman,endevor.
If question seems similar and intresting to anyone please reply soon.
