Hi

QC is really very good tool. You can use this tool for adding requirements, writing test cases, raising defects, used for defect management. This tool is also for preparing traceability matrix. Status report on how many, which all test cases have been executed. Can link to QTP/Winrunner and run the scripts.

Regards
Mamatha

Re: How it is work on qc..future aspects

As guys said above, HPQC is an excellent tool for test management.Starting from req. analysis till defect closure every thing can be done in a single platform. since you r expecting to work more on the admn side it gives more exposure than ppl who use the tool simply as a user. One more thing i want to add, learn to write macro which can interact with QC this will create a demand for u...All the best .

Regards,
Karthik
