    TNS Listener

    When i am trying to connect with database using PL-SQL Developer/Java Application,
    i am getting this error
    "TNS-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection"

    Anyone please..

    Please try this

    check that "DIRECT_HANDOFF_TTC_listener_name" is set to ON in the listener.ora on the server node. Where listener name is the name of your listener. Please restart the listener if you end u changing this or any parameter in the listener.ora file.

    Hey Thanks for your reply,

    But i have read in metalink like "DIRECT_HANDOFF_TTC_listener_name" is set to OFF
    So will you please more descriptive on the same.

    For ur reference..

    spool FILE_NAME.XML
    select dbms_metadata.get_xml('TABLE','TABLE_NAME') from dual;
    select xmltype(cursor(select * from table_name)) from dual;
    spool off

    If you want retrieve only certain column means,

    spool FILE_NAME.XML
    select xmlelement("COLUMN_NAME",COLUMN_NAME)
    from TABLE_NAME;
    spool off
