    Certification

    Hi,

I'm a B.E. graduate.I'm working as a technical helpdesk engineer in Bangalore and my work is to provide first level technical support on desktop issues. I'm planning to upgrade my career. Can anyone please suggest.
    Should I do any certifications?
If so please suggest to which one should I do.

    Regards,
    Sharmila.

    Re: Certification

You can check for the opportunities available in your organization. Say in case if you want to work as a programmer and you have any opportunity in Java then doing Java certification would help. Else if you have any projects coming up in oracle then oracle certifications would help.

Depending on your area of interest and the opportunities available, you can plan for certifications accordingly.

    Re: Certification

check out some internal vacancy in your company regarding programmer, developer n database administrator. According to that go for certification, With that check your interest area, if you are having interest in handling databases, go for oracle certifications, same is the case in programming and developing. let us know which certification you are going. So according to that i can help you out in preparation for that.
