    Hi testinfo,
    I have tested for two Retail Companies who specialise in EPOS systems. What exactly would you like to test - your question is a bit generic. Are you looking to test card, cash, cheque payments and refunds etc and other accounts type testing? Or something else

    I have an interview for a role that requires EPOS testing experience. Can you please give me some tips? I do not know which type of testing they are likely to do so a general over view with key pointers will be very much appreciated. Thanks

    Key points are:

    1) Transactions should be secured (encrypted data using https protocol)
    2) No caching or saving of username/password on m/c.
    3) Automatically session out if idle for long time.
    4) Limited allowed tries only, otherwise block account.
    5) Transaction details should logged.
