hi,
i am new in this testing feild, i have a doubt that in testing can we test the data directly from the database, i mean in a particular field like list of name belong to a column " name's of customer " in that coulmn i have to check whether the data(name's of customer) which appears are exactly correct which passes through a condition given in the query of database.... how check that data... can any one please please help me out with this..... thanks®ards shikhar |

I agree with Deepasree, you must have knowledge of SQL to test the data directly. In real time we use the tool named ' TOAD' to for writing SQL queries.
