Re: indexes
When we say redundant indexes, it simply means the indexes never used by Oracle. since those were never used , there won't be any performance issue. Removing those might remove some overhead as well.

One more point I would like to add is that keep rebuilding your indexes on the table on which lots of DML operations are performed. You will always be safe from any performance issue
