hello 2 all...
1-How can information technology support a company’s business processes and decision making, and give it a competitive advantage? Give examples to illustrate your answer. 2-Why are there so many conceptual classifications of information systems? Why are they typically integrated in the information systems found in the real world? 3-Why do big companies still fail in their use of information technology? What should they be doing differently? thanx a lot |

Re: Mis
1-How can information technology support a company’s business processes and decision making, and give it a competitive advantage? Give examples to illustrate your answer.
Ans: By using IT , you can store daily business activity in the form of data in your database and study or analys that data very easily in the form of graph or reports and find out when the business was doing well when it was not. e.g. consider the case of Managers and Clarks, just if you want to know how many manages or clarks are working in your company. This one second job to get this info if you have data of all employee. 2-Why are there so many conceptual classifications of information systems? Why are they typically integrated in the information systems found in the real world? Conceptual classification is because of need. e.g If my company only taking care of employee salary , then i need only Payroll system. This is again the need of the company that is why they are integrated. 3-Why do big companies still fail in their use of information technology? What should they be doing differently? Based on data , wrong decision or analysis sometime. Wrong business logic or policy could be. This is not IT fault. IT only provide the helping hand. I hope this would help u. |
