Hi all, i have an issue :((
Hello all:
I'm trying to record an application with load runner 8.1 First, when i check the app manually, it appears the Security Certificate alert windows, and you have to choose yes, then the app sends you to login page. But, when you are recording with LR, the Security Certificate alert windows doesn't appear and the IE says it can't find the server, like if the page doesn't exist. "The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings" Do you know what could be happening here? Regards |

Re: Hi all, i have an issue :((
Hi
It is understood that the application you are trying o record is an HTTPS app. So whether you are behind a proxy or not you have to check the following settings. In Recording Options: Network-Port Mapping, select the Capture Level as Socket Level & WinInet Level. And at below of the screen click on "New Entry". In the new Pop-up keep everything as it is & change only Record Type as "Proxy", if you are behind a proxy & "Direct" if you are not having any proxy to connect to internet. Then select Connection Type as "Auto" & then click on Update. It will create an entry in the network port mapping area. Now proceed with the recording, hopefully it should fix the problem. One more suggestion is that VuGen 8.1 & VuGen 9.0 are worst of all versions having millions of problems uncleared. So I suggest to use VuGen 9.1 which overcomes all such problems without much tweaking. Happy Recording, ![]() Regards, Rajasekhar G |
