HAL stands for the HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICAL LIMITED, if you are a electrical engineer, its better you have to concentrate on field theory, and basic principal of electrical engineer, along with that microprocessor such as 8085, 8086 and its series.
HAL now in todays date, changing very fast to meet the competative market, its better recommendable to study the IEEE articals

hindustan aeronautics limited is an aircraft bsd industry it doesnt matter from whichsoever branch u r just try to corelate your knowlwge in concern wit the aircrafts

Go thru the basics of networks,Machines,fields & instrumentation part.dont bother much about power systems.
