Re: Testing Effort Estimation
hi rahul,
For manual test effort estimation most of the time the test effort estimation are clubbed with development estimates 1. use cases 2. mapping use cases with test cases 3. classifing the test cases as high, low and medium 4. Time to execute the complexity of test cases(i mean high) and set an average time to execute the test cases 5.Multiply the average time with total number of steps Thanks Deepasree |

Re: Testing Effort Estimation
Thanks Deepasree,
I agree with you but this is only possible once you have the related use cases and test cases. but we also estimate the testing efforts for writing the TCs-> Review TCs for different screens UI with database teting also, then we can classify the test cases as high, low and medium and Time to execute the complexity of test cases. and more we have got the appliation in maintinance phase there is not development only bug fixing...then please guide... Thanks Rahul |
