Which one is the door to the Heaven?
One guy died and was sent to the god to select his destiny. The god gave him a chance to choose one out of Heaven and Hell. God’s directions are as follows.
“Turn from here and go straight. There will be two doors. One of them is to the Hell and the other is to Heaven. Which leads to where, that you will have to find out by yourself. And there will be two guards kept for the security. One of them is a liar and the other one always tells the truth. Who lies and who does not is for you to find out. You can ask only one question. If you want you can ask from both of the guards, but must be the same question. Once you select the entrance, there is no way back. So be vigilant.” So the guy went to see the guards, and asked a question and of course found the entrance to Heaven. What can be the question he asked from the guards?

Re: Which one is the door to the Heaven?
hi niki_87,
Question from my side will be Friends God has sent me here to call the person who is the guard of hell to praise him, for his sincereity in job ???? will you please come with me. I am assuming here that if both the person are very sincere in work and praising one person will 100% turn into inferiority complex???? and in the mean time i will identify which is heaven Note: This is 100% my assumption, i am expecting an excat answer Thanks Deepasree |

Re: Which one is the door to the Heaven?
well the answer would be that ask any of the guard "if I ask the other guard which door he(the other guard) is guarding what will be his answer??" if the guard says hell then the other guard is guarding heaven and vice - versa

Its simple.
I will ask both the guards the same question? "Which one door is for heaven?" The liar will tell me the wrong answer always, and the other one will tell me the rigt answer.Ultimately they will point to the same door in any case. |

Re: Which one is the door to the Heaven?
The answer is:
Ask any one of the two guard this question: "If I ask the OTHER guard, which door leads to Heaven, What would be HIS answer?" Whatever the answer the guard (you asked) gives, take the other door to reach Heaven. Assumption here is that both the guards know, which one is a liar among them and which one is truthful. Logic is: 1)Assume G1 guard is truthful and is guarding Heaven and G2 is liar guarding Hell. If you ask G1 what G2 will say if asked the door to heaven, G1 will truthfully tell you that G2 will lie and tell that the door G2 is guarding leads to heaven. Take the opposite door that is the one G1 is guarding to heaven. 2)Assume G1 (truthful) is guarding Hell and G2(liar) is guarding heaven. If you ask G1 now, G1 will tell that G2 will lie and tell that G1 is guarding the door to heaven. Take the opposite door the one guarded by G2 to reach heaven. follow the above logic for rest of the scenarios. -Thanks. 1) the guard |
