Career Advice needed for Change of Roles !

Hi,
I wrk for a Top tier US MNC, in PL SQL for 2.5 years. However , I feel that the time has come for me to switch roles which excel more in Business part and less technical stuff. Thats how I feel I am..
Can you friends guide me on what possible roles that I could consider for my switch and how is the possiblity of getting in.
I am , as of now looking for a BA or Oracle Apps, technical ( and thereby a Techno functional role in future).. I dont know how really are the possibilities as am not aware how other companies wil recruit ppl with differing experience for a new role and train them in to somethings like I ve mentioned.

Please give me details / insights or your ideas on this . Thnks for your time.
