How to record a selection from a drop down menu
I am testing a .NET application and QTP is not recognizing the dropdown menus, I tried descriptive programing but i cant get the test object values with the object spy .. please help

Please ensure that first QTP is launched, then you need start your application. This helps in intialization of Object Recognition.

yes i do have the .net add in..the problem is the drop down list doesnt stay in focus...and i asked the devs about what type of drop down list they used in the application they said its a combination of activex and .net!!!!i turned on my activex add in ..and still not capturing
