A Proof That 2 = 0:

1. X = 2 let x=2
2. X*X = 2X multiply by x on both sides
3. X*X - 4 = 2X - 4 subtract 4 from both sides
4. (X+2)(X-2) = 2(X-2) factorise
5. X+2 = 2 divide by (x-2) on both sides
6. X = 0 subtract 2 from both sides

Therefore x=2 and x=0 at the same time! Where lies the flaw in the logic?
