When trying to connect to the loadGenerator from the Load Runner i'm getting the following error can some body tell me. i understood that the agent is trying to connect through a port i dont know what is the solution for this:

ERROR

Error: Client ;1320;4704 is not responding. [MsgId: MERR-29992]

Note: Asset id is that of the controller.

Please provide the solution ASAP.

Are you able to ping the remote generator machine from the controller machine and vice versa?

Is there any firewall between the contoller and the genarator machine?

Is the port number 54345 is in listening mode in the remote genrating machine? (type netstat -an in the command prompt of the generator machine.)

Is your LG running as process or service? (If its running as process change it to service and vice versa).

I've some experiences with this kinda of troubleshooting, you might want to refer to it:
Error -10343: Communication error: Failed to connect to remote host [server name: ]. (sys error message - ) [MsgId: MERR-10343]
