CRM 4.0 MSCRM SQL Agents compared to 3.0

I am involved with a project for a new crm dynamics 4.0 installation. My dba has set-up the maint plans etc - and pointed out that there are two sql agents that were not auto set-up via crm install - which were there on the a similar crm 3.0 installation the two jobs are:
  • mscrm identity reseeding
  • mscrm stored procedure priming
i would like to know if these two 'missing' agent tasks are not required in 4.0 or whether we need to set-up them up manually thanks cd
