This is a discussion on Error While Recording in QTP within the QTP forums, part of the Software Testing category; While recording in QTP, no script is being generated, neither in the tree view nor in the expert view. What could be the problem? Kindly Help...

Hi all,
an another problem could be, if you open your application (IE) first and then launch QTP then QTP won't recognize the application. So it is a better practice to launch QTP first then the application. Please let me know if i am wrong. Thanks, Jitu |
