Silk Test not able to recognize the object
Hello Everybody,
I am Working on automation of a web application which is developed in Java, using Silk Test 2008. Application contains one “grid” which displays different information depending on the item selected. Sometimes it displays the list if htmllinks, buttons, sometimes data in rows and columns. However while recording the window declarations, Silk Test maps this grid as an object of class "htmltext", with some random text in the Caption. This gives an error while running the testcase as text in the Caption tag is not present in the application. This is a work stopper. Also checked in the source code which confiems that the object is grid. PFA drawing as ApplicationOverview1.jpg giving idea of application. |
