Best book for C#
Hi All Geeks,

I started coding in C# directly studying formally this language from any book, as I was from C, C++ background I didn't face much problem. But now at this point of time I want to study it formally as well to get my basics right. So please anyone can suggest me the best book for C#, that would be great.

MCTS Training Kit Net Framework 2.0 is ok.

It is outdated with the release of Framework 3.5 but a good place to start!

Pro C# with .net 3.x - I have read the WROX and other books. Apress seems to be the best so far.

i think "thinking in C#" is the best so far .. a bit outdated thou .. but it discuss the basics in a very helpful manner and easy to understand

I would suggest "C# via CLR". Thats a book that explains .NET from bottom to top approach.

Hi Dear,

Before even going for any book for C#, check the tutorials of C# and the DotNet FrameWork. It's really good enough to learn C#.net rather than purchasing a book.
