Interesting Puzzle in speed &distance.
Anitha walks from her home to Temple and back home. Her brother Amuthan walks from Temple to their home and back to Temple. They both walk at constant speeds ( not necessarily the same). They leave exactly at the same time and meet for the first time 7 Km from Temple. Each one continues on their way to their destination where they both trun around without any loss of time. They meet the second time 4 Km from their home.

What is the distance between Temple and their home?

I think the answer is 17Km...

Am i correct..?

Distance is d then the equation to be solved is

d-7/7 = d+3/d-3

which yields d = 17
