Coz v can Xport 2 QC, Coz ezy 2 mng in a XL then in a doc, Coz XL is Ydly used spreadsheet app, Coz XL is ezy 2 use, Coz mngng tbls in Word wud be tedious.

Hi Brijesh,

One important point that supports in Excel sheet is Tabular column.

let me give you some feature of Excel sheet that supports for writing test cases.

a) It leads to select the multiple selection of tabular field, like we can select which test cases by which tester is passed.
b) It has got feature to import External data like we can import test data from MS-Access,Oracle even from AS/400.
c) Excel has 655366 columns IV Rows means the combination of rows AA,AB,AC........AZ , BA,BB,..................till IV this may effectively be used for report preparation
d) More or less it helps to maintain Balance sheet calculation used for Test metrics


As of now i could get only these points in my mind,will think about this and post them.
