the job description is:
'Working as part of the Service Desk team in the Service Management Centre the role is focused on managing incidents for multiple contracts in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs) and following ITIL best practice processes. Your responsibilities will include logging calls for end users, implementing first time fixes where possible and escalating to internal support teams or third party suppliers as required.' |

Here are the things usually considered...
Good Communication skills... This is very important one... Lear about simple networking and any trouble shooting with windows and UNIX.. try to answer any questions asked by users without much investigation... basically you should be good at How to tips... If the related to windows, prepare more about User administration .. how it works in different operating system versions... usually in most of the companies, they use custom built windows install.. so prepare with such kind of packages and any deployment software... if it's related to UNIX, practice some basic UNIX .... and read some notes about Sun Solaris Unix and Linux... these two are the common versions used... Be confident and you will get the JOB... Good Luck. let us know how it goes... Please share your interview experience with us... Jim |
